I've been offered the opportunity to sell a meat bird. I have two fat Cornish and some skinny fryers. I also have turkeys and ducks for meat. I have no idea how much to charge. I would just give it away, but I don't want to set a precedent and figure I have invested in the bird. What do you think?

I sell at $3.75 per pound, which includes professional processing.

Depends on where you are - here we are charging $4.50/pound dressed (saw that today at the market and it was a frozen bird)...

Personally I can get $4.50/pound but I sell fresh - I would go down if it was frozen - just my personal opinion and not everyone thinks like I do - LOL
