Hello! I'm spending WAY too much time on this forum and am amazed at the experience and generous help offered here

But, I hate to constantly pester with questions that I could find answers to easily elsewhere and I tend to learn things through books. I wonder if anybody has any exceptional books on raising egg-laying chickens. Mine are cage-free, free ranging during the day, no antibiotics or hormones, and I'd like them to be as "natural" as possible. Any titles pop out at you? Thanks!

yeah I'd suggest storeys guide to. That is literally the chicken bible. It cost around $16

i just bought Storeys guide to raising chickens
author Gail Damerow
and love it! has so much information and easy to read.
very helpful.

Keep Chickens!
Chicken Encyclopedia
Field Guide To Chickens

Do an Amazon search and you will come up with alot of good books.

Thanks, all! I'm putting these on hold through my local library system and will probably end up buying them--
