I think it depends on where you are to. Around here pekin are probably THE top duck lol .. although muscovy are definitely in there but hard to find for some reason at least in my region and neighbouring ones.

just my apinyin i despise pekins when i was in south carolina there was a male pekin breeding with a male muscovy.

RUNNERS!

I love my runners; they are hilarious and all of the ones that I've had are so different. Good layers too!

All I have had are rouens anconas khakis and calls, dont know much about valls though. I heard welsh harlequine are very pretty good layers good mommys and very social. Thats why I have 4 of them on their way here lol. I dont like pekins so much either.
