It is finding two! My ladies were 21 weeks old on Monday and I check the coop every morning just in case. Today there were two little eggs waiting for me. I'm not quite sure who laid them, but it made my morning!

What's even better than finding your first egg? Why, eating it, of course!![IMG]

You're both right! lol I haven't eaten them yet (I want to show them to hubby when he gets home from work) and an incubator is on my wish list. I can't wait to reach more flock milestones!

    It's a big day isn't it?
Only chicken lovers can understand it.
Think that deserves a special dinner and a bottle of bubbly.
It be even better if you didn't have to cook it or clean it up.

The very best part is that it's ALWAYS exciting! Each & every time you collect! (at least to me....!!)

gosh, I think the first egg we got sat in our fridge for a week before Icould bring myself to crack it open!

    What's better??
Bringing your first box of peepers home and watch them run around in the brooder for first time
Watching chickens freerange for first time
So, first egg is still up there...

The girls at work laugh at me about first eggs, egg color etc... they say, "Well aren't you just going to scramble and boil and throw away the shell anyway?"

You know you can dry them out and keep them. I have a few I've held on to.
