buying an actual incubator, or getting a couple silkies??? lol... after reading some of these threads and all the issues associated with using an incubator(humidity, temp) i was thinking it may be easier to just have some silkies... first since they are super cute, second because they are so broody!!!

what do you all prefer??? and what is easier?

Yeah, I agree with the poster above. Silkies are sooo cute and sweet and make the best mothers in the world. The only thing is, you have to be willing to wait until they go broody to incubate eggs. You can't get fertile eggs and expect them to just sit on them when you want. It's a hormonal thing. [IMG]

I ordered some show girl eggs. I hope they are as broody as silkies. All i need is one pullet.
