What's everyone's favorite breed and why?

Just out of curiosity what is everyone's favorite breed of chicken and why? I currently have 4 leghorn chickens and a leghorn rooster [we love him and he's very passive]. I also have, 3 commets [one is very nosey and curious]. I also have one that I'm not really sure what breed she is. She's quite large and white. Once we move to our 18 acres I'm looking to expand my chicken count.

My Bride is very fond of Silkies because they are "adorable" and very friendly. We both enjoy the friendly natures of Orpingtons.

Swedish Flower Hens.

Beautiful patterns, lay huge brown eggs, very efficient layers, calm temperament, long living, cold and heat tolerant, do well in confinement or free ranged.

I like our lovely brown leghorns a lot because they are so independent, so self sufficient while free ranging. They aren't back-door chickens. I do have 2 back-door chickens, a barred rock and a Sebright, and I like them a lot too because they are so friendly, cute, and they follow me around like puppies. So I don't have one favorite but these 3 are breeds I would want to get again.

A mini donkey is on my "wish list". And I will check into all the different breeds of chickens. Maybe I just need one or two of each

They are the sweetest. And with living into their 50s they are life long friends.

I love my araucana! The blue eggs, the roosters are the most docile I ever thought I'd meet. I can't wait for my three babies to grow up!
