So i bought a pair of seabrights every thing was fine til my hen started eating the neck feathers of my rooster long story short I separated them til he recovered fully which he did then I reintroduced them after 3 weeks of being apart to wake up the next morning to his tail feathers and neck feather out
I then decided I'd get one of my more experienced roosters and cross breed her to see if I could get any gold laced birds which i did i got some very odd but nice coloured chicks but she never touched his feathers
I'd love to breed the seabrights together for show chicks as the hen has a perfect body shape and lacing and is very tame and the rooster has an incredibly good comb aswell as body shape but now the second time his neck feathers r growing back in they are growing crocked
this didntthis didn't happen last time and I'm wondering if Its.to late to save his neck feathers now or is there anything I can do to help him
And also to make my hen stop pulling his feathers
Cheers pekin
