Barred Rock is Dwayne the Rock Johnson (its a girl

)

Ameraucana's are Omlete, Poachy, Huavo

Rhode Island Reds: Tiny, Red

, The Boss (Bossy one), and Flame

Gold Sex Link: Benedict

Bantam Japanese is Hero

(i think its a boy)

and our Brahma is Meg

And we have two others named Samantha and Robin

We only have them for the eggs and pets. No intention of eating them, but I just couldn't resist.

our 15 buff orps dont have names other then my granson says the rooster is a gooster he cant pronounce r's rite now so hubby and I call the boys goosters now people look at say what is a gooster like we have something very very rare

1 gooster we will keep will be named sponge bob
im still thinking of other names great ideas here
i love the forrest

hubby says one should be named dinner

a friend was trying to help me name my two chicks today (she didn't like the betsy lou & betty sue I came up with) and she said I should go with "Tyson & Perdue"

The names she threw out there were:

chicken
bok-bok
honey BBQ and mustard!
cordon blue and francese
roasted and bbq'd
teriaki and tempura
Tyson
Perdue
Bell
Evans

We got 10 chicks and have five in our family so we each named two.

Pinto Carnation- named by my 3 yr old

Popcorn Daisy Pollen- named by my 6 yr old

Butters- named by my 15 yr old
danish brown leghorns- Nanna (danish veggie goddess-3 yr old calls her banana)
- Freya (danish goddess of fertility)- named by me
rhode island reds- O.G. Hennyloc
- Bootin E. Lee Farnsworth- named by DH who likes rap
We're hoping they are all girls even if the names don't sound like it. They are just over two weeks now. Something to suit any taste in there I think.

I don't have any photos yet and I am still not sure how to post a photo but I can tell you that she is a very nice Isa Brown pullet.
