WHATS HAPPENEING!!! With pictures

Hi my quail is around 6 weeks now and he has caught his Beak part. But we kept him inside and cleaned him but that was about 2 weeks ago. I don’t know if it’s to do with that but his beak looks bigger than the other quail.
is there something wrong with him or is it a breed thing.

There can be some variation but his definitely looks enlarged.....could be swelling or scar tissue from the injury
