Whats in YOUR bator????? UPDATE, Pics Pg 12

37 jumbo coturnix quail on day 14 (just took them off the turner) and 15+ button quail. As my button hens lay, I just keep adding them to the bator. I can't help it.

i'd say about 39 button quail eggs (from two different breeders, and my own hen as well)

and 9 Silkie, Silkie X Faverolle, SilkiexBantam barred rock eggs (those are the possiblities of chick breed or crosses I should expect)

Got a button egg due tomorrw, sunday ones due, then on wednesday I have 1 due to hatch, thursday one is due, then friday about 11 are due, sat another 11 or so due,and next month on the 2nd my 5 first silkie and or silkie crosses are due and the last 4 silkie or possible silkie crosses are due on about the 8th i think it is.

Hubby saw the Turkey Eggs and said "What are those" I kind of sheepishly said "Maybe they are Turkey Eggs" He starts cracking up laughing......

just got a box yesterday from Kate at Golden Egg with *15* silkie eggs.. add that to the 4 from my birds- OH and the Silver Sebrights that are coming Monday..I'm excited

Nothing finally. I have been hatching since May non-stop. Have 5 black and self blue OE chicks in the brooder from last weeks hatch. Putting the bators away today to keep me from getting tempted. Now it's time to winterize the coops.

Putting 6 blue andalusian eggs in the incubator tonight. Wish me luck.

Just candled my 7 duck eggs (its day 7) All 7 are growing!!!!
I'm soooo excited

I am on Day 18 with the first part of my hatch, I will move them to the hatcher tonight (Red Cochins and Favorelles.

My Orp and Barred Rocks have a few days. Turkey eggs went in friday and I have 30 eggs should be here Wed or Thurs this week (Houdans and Cochins)

ARE you kidding - BAtor #1 - we have 17 welsummers and 2 BC marans, Bator #2- black banties and duck eggs from a BYCer, Sept egg swap. Bator #1 on day 18. Will post pictures.

Send good vibes: I found my 6 yr old little girl asleep by the bator Sunday morning waiting for her eggs to hatch.

I've got eggs on day 12 in my hova-bator. I started with 6 bantam dominiques and 6 bantam BBS orps. I now have 4-5 viable of each breed. I have been waiting to hatch BBS bantam orps for a long time now, so I'm excited!
