We have clay (and are in the process of building a house) so my current garden is being established for the chickens.

We have spearmint, bee balm, purple cone flowers, coreopsis, black eyed Susan, and sage... more to come eventually.

Our yard has some clay in it to.

We have perennial beds filled with iris, daylilies, cannas, coreopsis, clownfish dianthus, giant liriope, lantana, hostas, salvias, autumn sage, elephant ears, skullcap, pincushion flower, candytuft, asparagus fern, rosemary, lemon balm, mint, society garlic, and knockout roses. The fences are flanked with Carolina jessamine, Lady Banks trailing roses, wisteria, and star jasmine. -planters filled with various succulents, creeping Jenny, impatiens, asparagus ferns, coleus, foxtail ferns, elephant ears, and dipladenia. -trellises with mandevilla and clematis. -hanging baskets with Boston ferns. We have blueberries, blackberries, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, six types of peppers, sage, thyme, onion chives, cilantro, sweet basil, oregano, and dill. -a lovely oak leaf hydrangea, and giant sunflowers along the back fence. -eleven crape myrtle trees in various shades of lavender, pink, and white, and a glorious vitex tree.

Thats a lot of plants XD. We have some of those, but most of them im unfamiliar with.

The top favorites in my garden are my daylillies and my honeysuckle bush.

This is my lilac, last year the chicks completely ruined the lower half of this. Now that the chickens have their own yard it looks like its coming back!

This is my honey suckle that I'm trying to bring back to life after the chicks tried to kill it. We shall see....

Planted some blackberry bushes, hopefully I'll have a little berry patch!

Well...this was a strawberry patch but the girls escaped their enclosure and ripped up the box on the left. I tried to replant the plants but its struggling...the one on the right is doing good.

And finally one of two pear trees that I planted last year along with the little angels... From left to right is Gretchen (EE), Rocket (SS), and Thelma (BA). I've been getting 5 eggs/week from each of them so I forgive them for plotting the yard destruction...
