WHATS IN YOUR INCUBATOR THIS WEEK

Week one is over and I just don't see a need to candle because of the dark brown eggs. We have to post pics once our broods hatch.

That sounds like my wife. I think if we had another coop she would be doing just that. Icould see people asking if its ok to eat that colored egg.

Lol I've been asked if they taste different by more than one person.

Well, I'm at it again. After nothing hatching the last time I am on day4 of 12 frizzled turken eggs. Figured out my humidity was totally off and that is why nothing hatched. Crossing my fingers and toes this time. :/

18 black Langshan. One set of 8 on day 7 and doing good. 10 set today!

11 polish bantams out of 12 (one dud)!
1 aracuana x silkie all on day 13, not long to go now!

And 4 eggs under a broody silkie pullet which are not all hers, which will be a mix of polish, aracuana, silkie and millefleur pekin! I haven't the heart to shove her off of them!

I just started 17 eggs on Tuesday. 5 Blue Copper Marans and 12 mixed Marans (Blue, Black,Splash) This is my first attempt at a hatch....

I started 11 eggs yesterday. Seven are Frizzled Polish I bought here on BYC. The other 4 are from my white crested blue Polish with a RIR as the fertilizer. I just hatched 3 of her eggs on Easter, and they are all getting a tiny crest. It will be interesting to see what a Polish RIR cross feathers out to look like!
