I do have the Kindle App on my phone but I prefer my Nook because I can read more than one paragraph at a time. I did read the Scarlet Letter on it. That is a classic. I love it.

I troll the free books on my Nook. There are so many to choose from, what's a person to do?? Buy the memory expansion lol

I collect books. I keep every book I read. My brother owns the oldest independant book store in Memphis, TN, Burkes Books. Whenever I want a new book, I call him. He is a dying breed and it's sad. His book store stocks many 1st editions, signed, leatherbound, HTF, rare books. As a matter of fact (interesting story), John Grisham will only do his book signings at Burkes when he does a book tour. When he was unknown, he was trying to sell A Time To Kill out of the trunk of his car, all of the major book stores would not help him. My brother let him put his book in his store. Now he only goes to Burkes when he is in Memphis. I used to help out when he would do his signings. I was the one who handed him every book to sign. He is an extremely nice, gracious, humble man and easy on the eyes.

Oh yeah, my taste in books is vast.

I used to have hundreds if not thousands of books (most of them childrens) but one year when our basement flooded I lost most of them. I still have collections and still check out real books from the library but the Nook has freed up a lot of space in my small house.

I've had mine for about 3 years, it would fill the whole thread just listing everything. I'm now in the process of read Twain's Autobiography Part 1. But there is a combination of nonfiction History and historic novels, mostly.

Got my Kindle for Christmas, tho I have no intention of giving up print books, either. Just more selective about what I buy in print. I have a whole bunch of .pdf books on my computer that I will be reading on my Kindle. I have been reading one Kindle, one print lately, trying to get thru the- umm, let's see with the ones just added- 71 books on my to be read list.

But on my Kindle right now is:

Lord of the Isles by Dave Duncan (currently reading)
A Shadow in Summer by Daniel Abraham (read)
Crystal Rain by Tobias H. Buckell (read)
Marco and the Red Granny by Mur Lafferty (read)
The Goblin Market (Into the Green) by Jennifer Hudock (to be read)
The Rookie (Galactic Football League #1) by Scott Sigler (to be read)
