That's adequate for your birds....although, pricey at 8.99 to 12.00/ 5lb bag.

It was all the feed store had at 30% protein. I am very new to quail. I didn't want to drive to multiple stores.

I understand, before I started having my feed custom milled, I had to drive all over trying to find what I wanted.
You might look into ordering feed on-line. Most have free shipping if ordering over $47 to $50.
