What's more dirty???

I think my chickens are cleaner than my outside dog, except their feet after it's been raining! Ok, even then they are cleaner than the dog!

I would let my little dogs on my couch but not my chickens. I think dogs are cleaner.

I will say dogs are dirtier, because when you pet them, they leave a smelly, oily residue on your hands! Chickens don't!

it's a lot easier to groom and bathe a dog and they can be house trained. I say dogs are cleaner

Inside or out, Chickens win "cleaner animal" for me! Yes, the chicken is less likely to be potty trained, BUT my indoor dog has an odor that can't be covered. It doesn't matter how frequently I bath her and with what, she always smells. And the hair is unbearable! Either one in the house requires DAILY cleaning to stay on top of the filth and keep a tidy home. Cats are another ballgame entirely....

When my current indoor dog is gone, I will sooner build an indoor aviary for a trio of birds than have another dog in the house.

By this question, are you wanting to know amount of dirty per pound of pet, or amount of dirty per animal?
