Oh same!!!!! Today is one of those days for me, unfortunately.

I'm debating knitting more on my scarf tonight. I've already done what I set out to do for today.

On my mind for today is keep cool in this hot weather, check the feather kids, special attention to the sick hen, ..and think about my dogs a bit.

My dogs are crazy at times, when the weather is so hot, blasting sun they go out in the garden stretch themselves out and open mouth breathing......they could just walk inside the house, but that is what they choose to do. Crazy as crazy can be...I told them...just please yourself.

I feel disappointed about a lot of things. I wonder when I'll find out whether a paper I submitted will get accepted or not. I'm not feeling confident, especially considering how I rushed to finish it and some other things, but I'm curious.

Was your paper accepted?

I wondering if our driveway has thawed down to the dirt enough that I can get out with the car and go to the store.

The snow has packed down into ice, but it's been above freezing for a couple days. Hubby drove the Jeep back and forth a couple times to break up the slush/ice and give yesterday's rain somewhere to run off.

He's expecting a delivery today; they often do not, will not come to our house in the winter.

Our horses do that too! On super hot days, they often choose to stand out in the sun instead of under their shelters.
