Well, still no egg from this little free loader lol! she seems to be back to hanging out with her siblings. They have about a quarter acre fenced in free range area for there portection ( we are knee deep in coyotes around here in Michigan) however they like to go beyond the fenced in area and free range throughout the lining of our woods. So im thinking maybe shes got a nesting spot hidden somewhere that i cant find. Ill keep looking tho, shes definitely up to something

Welp.... it happened!
so this girl is an easter egger

She has her blue legs.
She has her pea comb
She has her bearded face

And she just laid a beautiful light tan egg. Little booger. But as expected.. im about as giddy as any other crazy chicken lady that this girl is laying!

This pictures is from a few months back.
But this just goes to show, regardless of their appearance and all the tall tale signs you're never guaranteed a certain color egg with a easter egger

Exactly! Our very first chicken that weve raised since a chickling to start laying! So exciting! Our two other layers we got as older hens. So this is just sooo cool to me!
