whats the best bug treat

Ok I work at a petstore and have access to cheap bugs. I always bring home bug treats for my ducks and they go crazy for them. Its a cute little game we play. I let the bugs go and they chase them through the grass or eat them out of my hand. I want to know what kind of bugs are the best. Iv heard crickets have niacin in them but I cant find any proof of it. I switch it up from meal worms to crickets and have been thinking of giving them some feeder fish but idk. Also heard meal worms can be fatty so I dont give them much bug treats.

I dont have much bugs running around my house. I have to buy bugs

Mine luv crickets.. I buy them in a lot of 500 during the winter months for fun/nutrition. And they KNOW what the cricket box is.... lol they see it and and gather round gabbing up a storm ....

In the summer I buy minnows and throw them in their pond , mostly cuz they have so much fun chasing them around.
My ducks dont care for meal worms, I run the hose in the grass to bring up the earthworms they luv.

That picture of the cricket box gave me the heebie jeebies. I HATE CRICKETS! EWWWW. I also hate moths and butterflies, and junebugs, oh yeah, and worst of all, the potato bugs! Hate hate them all!
Oddly, not afraid of spiders, bees, or anything that can actually hurt me. I am the family freak. LMAO. The butterfly thing makes everyone shake their heads and look at me like I need help!

last night I brought home 30 crickets. they got them this morning. As fast as I could put them in the grass the crickets were gone! They were looking for more. How many bug to do guys feed your ducks at once

Mine love chasing crickets.. THey love meal worms too. They dont care too much for minnows though.

I dont care for crickets much either , but when it comes to my duckies I find myself doing alot of things I didnt think I would do..lol
when I dish out the crickets I have my ducks in the hut and then I throw out a couple hand fulls... they chase them all down and hunt all around the edges and corners and then Ill throw more out if they want some... I have 4 calls and they prbly eat 3 -4 dozen at a shot....
