What's the best type of rooster

    I'm considring getting a full size roo I want a looking Breed but one that isn't afraid of getting into a fight with a predator

    It depends on several factors. If he's going to reproduce, the breeds of your hens matters. If he's there with other roosters, some breeds aren't going to work. Your climate; too warm or very cold. Then there's the 'eye candy' factor; he's got to appeal to you in the looks department. No rooster can defend against big predators, but they do help. Toughest might be a large game breed, but only if he's the only male present. Mary
