I'm planning on using Avitrol Plus on them for the first time tomorrow. Normally used Aristopet poultry wormer but on reading the fine print it only kills roundworms.

I use the Avitrol for all my other birds, quail, cockatiel, budgie, canaries, finches, bourkes parrots and turqs. The Avitrol kills thread, caecal, round, gape, gizzard and tape worms. Only one week egg withholding time. It's broad spectrum makes me feel safer for them, and my dog being as he eats their poop and it's pointless worming him if he's just gonna re-infest himself courtesy of the chooks!

I've only ever had two hens with worms, the new pullets I got this year. I used the aristopet a while ago but now they're older it's time for a big guns!

That's all there is to using that stuff?? I just read up on it, I've used Fenbendazole with all the livestock for yrs but I'm going to order some Valbazen. What does the bottle say? What's the %? Is it a liquid? The stuff almost sounds too good to be true. But wikipedia doesnt kie lol!
