The "craziest thing" I ever saw on a roadway was a Navajo in a pickup on a Cold, Icy, Snowy Night.....gunning the engine to "Run-Off" without paying the "tow-bill" after I had pulled him out of a MUDDY DIRTY SNOWY ICY MESS with a Wrecker (this took an hour of HARD WORK).
I had let the rear wheels of his Pickup down to within an inch of the pavement when I thought MAYBE I should go collect the "tow-bill".
He said he wouldn't PAY.......and put the truck in Gear ....and "gunned" the engine..........
BUT...He didn't go ANYWHERE...........(his "driving-wheels" were STILL one inch off-the-ground...)
The 2 Indian Squaws he had in the pickup with him PAID the "tow-bill"..and I unhooked the Wrecker and let them go on their way.
CRAZY lousy STUNT.

P.S. That hour of HARD WORK did NOT INCLUDE the hour of driving there AND the hour of driving Back!
