Is true he eats a lot when is sleeping, sometimes wakes up just to eat....I didn't know they die like that, but thanks for the information. Unfortunately I'm a vegan so I will never murder him. So I guess I'll take care of HIM untill his last breath.

I've read that you need to restrict their diet to keep meat birds alive as pets without them suffering from not being able to carry their own weight. So don't feed him too much!

I'll do that, actually I noticed at night he wakes up just to eat, so now his bed have no food closer, he eats less now, I hope he lives long
