I have 30 chicks growing out. I know for sure I will have a blue cockeral and maybe a splash for sale a bit later.

I have to chime in for the Salmon/Blue Salmon Faverolles here... Sweetest chickens you will ever meet... roos are gentle as lambs and they are the most consistent layers in all seasons and weather extreams I have ever seen...

I have Dominiques and Buff Cornish chicks. The Dominiques are definately sweeter. They all come to me and they are not so skittish when I pick them up. The Buff Cornish cockerels are loud, scared and annoy me and the other chicks. I think I have one Buff Cornish pullet and she is sweeter than the rest of the BC chicks, but not as sweet as the Dominiques.

I have to agree with some of the others, I think all Wyandottes are beautiful! And from what I hear they are very sweet.

Edit: These aren't my chickens, my chicks are only 5 1/2 weeks old.

When we first started out we got one of each of a few different kinds.

Everyone loves them and all of our family and friends have their favorites.

Personality does after a while tend to push you one way or another. Some of our favorites now are 'ugliest' of all.

I think (and do most of our guests) the prettiest we have are the Cochins and the dark brahama. The feathers on their feet get them everytime!

Our arracaunnas win everyone over whith their natural sweetness.
