Mine don't have names yet. I figured they have to "earn" them, through their personalities or whatever. They change so much from week to week!!! I have a full day off tomorrow, maybe I can go sit out there and watch them and see about names....

Ok, we have 2 yard roosters left over from 4-H birds last year. A white faced black spanish rooster named Stan the man and a little OEG roo that someone gave us to keep Stan company named Tyson. They are buds.

Our chicks are 3 & 4 weeks old, so we haven't named them all yet, wanting to see their personalities more. We have named the SLW rooster (Virgil) and the Welsummer rooster (Sidney) after my 2 grandpa's.

Our geese were named before they arrived by my 16 year old daughter. They are Nigel, Tyra and Twiggy. Anyone want to guess her favorite show? lol

We haven't named any of our hens because we decided they were not pets, they are farm animals. That was supposed to apply to the Roo too. Well that only lasted a few days.

DH went out to watch the chickens and came in exclaiming that he had named our Roo LUCKY. Our roo is so well liked by the hens that they actually line up for him. He tells everyone that the rooster is his hero.
