Roos are - Rizzle, Todd, Gregg, Jaws and Bear.

Hens are - Rizzie, Chunky Butt, Fluffy Butt, Uno, Goober, Cristine, Cristina, Araceli and Jennie.


I also have a whole mess of birds with no names.

Rest her soul, I had a wonderful BR hen named Larry. She survived one dog attack that took out Moe and Curley, and when I got more hens, became top hen. The only other one that I named of the new ones was "Bare-Butt", because she was bottom of the pecking order and had no feathers on her posterior half. Now that Bare-Butt, an EE, is the only survivor of another dog attack (same dog, we're pretty sure), she is no longer bare, so has become BB Chicken.

Then we just got a baby cockatiel my daughter named him Barbossa after pirates of the caribbean.

haven't gotten around to naming the rest of the girls there is just to many.

I have just sat and read the 3 last pages (read the other 2 last night) and I am so happy to see all the post (well 99.9% of the post) with all of the different names.

Let's keep this thread going. It is sometimes hard to come up with a name like one in here said that "It's like naming kids" and it is, they are a part of your family whether they are pets or for food in the future. We seem to think that we may have a roo in our bunch of chicks and if so my kids and I have agreed on "GENERAL LEE" because my Mom asked us to name one after them, they live in another state and that way we will be calling on them, lol.

We are going to get more chicks this coming week and if there is a roo in the bunch his name will be BAR-B-QUE. (just because

)

silver bantam mixed breed hens: Bobbi, CeCe, and Sissy
(only way I could tell them apart was to look at which chicks were following each !)

White Rock hen: Fairy (remember the commercial for White Rock ?)

black EE hen: Black Maria (should have heard her 'siren' screech!)

wheaten/buff EE mix hen: Blondie

silver EE: Victoria
