What's the name of your chicken coop? "Chicken" Hilton here

I GOT IT!!! I thought of it all on my own...

"The Biddy Abode"

It's cute and clean... no play on words that rhyme with Cluck!!! (which was all that was coming to my dirty mind at first)

I LOVE "Fuster Cluck"!!! That's exactly what ours has been! I'll have to see what DH thinks of that one -- we're still trying to come up with a good name. Maybe "The Fuster Cluck, built by J&D's Crooked Construction Company".

LOL - the Home Depot guys called mine the Chicken Hilton when they were helping me fill the material order for the plan

But it is not nearly as large or as high quality (no plank floors or "real" windows) - so maybe mine shoudl be the Chicken Hampton Inn instead of Hilton

I have more than one "coop" building. So, here goes:

The A-Frame is "Gallinas Lindas" - for Cute Chickens. It's great for a broody sanctuary or a grow out coop.
The second coop I built is "Chez Poulet." This is where the majority of the chickens roost at night.
The Duck House is... well... The Duck House. Although neither of the ducks use it. But I built it for them, so it remains the Duck House. Four bantam chickens use it at night. Go figure.
The Little Tike Playhouse converted into a coop is "The Playhouse." Four very pretty pullets live there, two bantams and two LF.
The brand new coop, purchased from a professional builder, has not yet been named. It needs one!

I finally bought the paint and brushes and will start this week to transform the refurbished storage shed that is now the coop. I've been sketching out the design and am ready to go. It'll look like a stone castle with turrets, towers and guards at the pophole.
It'll be named Buck-Buck-Buckingham Palace. When it's done I'll post pics of it before and after.

"La Coop vert" or The Green Coop

We used slabs and recycled wood and other items to build it. (My daughter is big about going green) sooo, we dubbed it La Coop vert.
