What's the next "Bubble" breed???

I think a couple different color varieties of Marans will be first, before it shifts to a different breed.

Then, either a different dark egg layer breed or a fancy color of Orpington. Depending on how breeding programs go in this country and what can be brought in. Then again, maybe I'm just influenced by this forum!

NNNOOOOOOOO!!! Dont eat them then!!! Lets make NN BC Whatevers!!! Send em to me, I'll put them under my ridiculously Broody Silkie Phoenix mix - She NEVER leaves the nest! I think she's have a heart attack if something hatched though? She lives above the brooder, I would just take em away!
That would be a Hilarious combination! Moriticia already looks like a BC Marans NN! Lovely!

I still think dun/chocolate has a chance at making another come back. I remember when the chocolate polish were big then died off in popularity. Now its time for dun barred birds of every breed! I know some breeders have dun barred wyandotte bantams on the east coast. Heck even blue barred or blue laced silver would be cool. I know some of our fellow chicken addicts are working on blue barred rocks so why not blue barred cochins or blue dominiques. I would love to see more buff barred birds also, I love looking at the buff barred crosses on feathersite, they are so pretty.
