I was just wondering if some of the same things happen to chickens that happen to people such as twins, being born without color (albinism), etc. What is the rarest thing you've ever seen?

Rare...
Well, one time I hatched a chick from a BCM egg shipped from Florida that had double the digits on each foot. Poor thing had like 16 toes total. It did die a day or so later.

The rarest thing I ever saw on a chicken(actually it was off the chicken!lol) was this one raised by "banjoejoe4783" in Oklahoma. He is the owner of Villanil Farms. It cropped out of a flock of Turkrns(Necked Necks). Its a rooster and has no feathers or scales on its legs and feet.

WOW!! Cross that with some meat birds and it can go from the coop to the pot with just the swing of an ax!!! I sure hope someone knitted it some long handles...

I want one! or 10!

Ugly?.... yeah, but just think... no plucking!

I guess the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my own flocks was once, years ago, we had a chick hatch with just tiny stubs instead of wings and an elongated tailbone, looked like a short tail. It died after a couple of days though. Not sure if it was genetic, a incubating thing or what, but it looked almost like a dinosaur. Wish it had lived.

I opened an egg that had died before hatch to find that it had one body and 2 heads. It was pretty cool actually LOL! I also had one upon eggtopsy discovered it was missing the covering to it's brain (it had passed away after pipping, but before hatching).
