Whats the record for consecutive days laying from 1 hen?

Just curious how many days straight your hen has layed. 1 Hen?

I know mine isn't a record, but I have a Red Sexlink that has layed 14 days in a row. How many days have yours gone?

my 2 pullets have both laid for 9 days straight, fingers crossed!

16 days, took one day off and now she has gone for 10 days. This is her first few times laying too

I'm not sure but as soon as my first 7 started laying I have been getting 6-7 eggs a day and they are a year old. My WLH has only missed a few days in the year I have had her. She did lay a fart egg the other day. I have 8 that are 18 weeks old and they haven't started yet.

My only girl laying -an Australorp- started at 17 weeks, and now, 21 days later, she has only missed twice, and those in the beginning, she is working on >14 days straight laying right now. Now for the rest of the slackers to start laying.....

Well I'm getting eggs everyday, but I have no idea who is laying them! Well some idea, as I know the White Rocks are laying, and the NHRs are, but not sure who else. Oh, I did see one of my youngest, a sex link laying. She's only 16 weeks old.

How do you know who is laying, when you have several chickens that look alike???

Oh, and I do keep a track of how many eggs we're getting a day, but just not who is laying.

According to one of the antique books that I have from the early 50's, there was an Australorp hen that laid 364 eggs in 365 days. As far as I know, this is the record.
