Sat 1:45AM local. I think this is probably as cold as it is going to get this week for us 62.4 F Feels Like 62.4

All windows are opened in hopes of cooling down our concrete floors to suck the heat out of the house for the coming week.

Sour get yourself some gloves- real gloves. I get them either at Lands end, or sports shops, we have a LLBeans out here now too. Some places even have gloves inside mittens, and you can use one or the other separately or together depending on how much dexterity you need for the job, and the weather.

My best ever in life gloves cost me 95 or so dollars back in '92. They were Burton Snowboarding gloves heck I probably have them stashed away somewhere. If I were ever going to the arctic those would be my go to gloves. I still know where my snow pants are not like I will ever need those again. The gloves were modular as you described.
