I go through a little town called "Red Haw" (not hawk--haw) on my way to the Meyer Hatchery......A very rural, little worn out looking town....

My favorite in TN is Buck Snort.

But we also have a Soddy-Daisy and a Skullbone. Then there is Defeated and Difficult. No wonder that there is then Flippin and Finger, TN.

Sounds like others have noticed the Arkansas gift to the town name world.

Yellville, Fifty-Six, Joy, Romance, Economy, Gassville, Flippin, Coin, Highfill

I live in Black Jack, Missouri and my brother lives in Sarcoxie, MO
Missouri also has
Moody, Blue Eye, Ginger Blue, Noel, Rocky Comfort, Kissee Mills, Romance, Fidelity, Champion, Ponce de Leon, Goodnight, Neck City, Peculiar, Licking

Oklahoma has
Carter Nine, Okay, Lost City, Slick, Evening Shade,

Kansas has
Neutral, Burden

Between, Georgia is closer to me than the city my post office says. It has Ho Hum Hollow Road.

Two from Long Island (where I'm from) are Hempstead and Hicksville. I don't know specifically what the meaning of the first town is, but the second does NOT mean "a village out in the hicks" like some people might think. It's actually named after the Hicks family, who owned a lot of property in what later became that town.
