whats this? egg question

I thought about taking a picture after i had already scrambled the egg.. (sorry)

But, when I was cracking the eggs into a bowl this morning i noticed that some of the whites are totally clear and some of the eggs had a white "thing" in the white part.

I do have a few roosters so I know my eggs are fertile , but this was not in the yolk it was in the white part.

any idea on what this may be?

It is probably the chalaza. This is a spring in the egg that helps keep the yolk centered. Has nothing to do with a rooster.

It is perfectly safe to eat. Occurs in all eggs, just more noticeable in some.
