What's this? Feeding eggs to your week old chicks? how?

Ok. I was just commenting on the sentence that says " they are too young for calcium". I guess I didn't understand what was meant by that.

I hard boiled an egg for my dozen chicks who are 4 days old. Some liked it and some didn't even seem interested LOL But I've read that giving them a little egg is good for them every once in a while.
