what's this on my chicken! pics

I went out to see my ladies this evening and noticed that Henny has something on her beak/start of comb....

I hope it's just a scab from getting stuck in the wire or something or possibly a having a fight with 'Wobby' the neighbourhood cat? ( I did see him in our yard tonight...) There are no other signs of anything abnormal.... These are the best pics I could get

Being a first time chicken owner... I am always paranoid! I just hope it's not some horrid chicken illness!!

Anyone willing to share an opinion?

Hmmm..... whilst I think about it my chicks are 12 weeks old now... and I tend to find a few feathers laying around the cage each day (like baby fuzz ones though, not mature feathers). Do you think that is a sign that 'Wobby' the cat is FREAKING them out... or is it normal???

It just looks like a boo boo. Keep an eye on it. You can put neosporin on it if you want to. Just don't use pain relieving kind.

believe it or not neosporin is a prescription only drug in Australia!!! Last time I flew to the states I realised you guys could buy it over the counter so I got some while I was there.... except I have loaned it to my mum to use on her white tail spider bite wound!

neosporin is what I call my 'magic cream'... I'm the only one who has it around here
