No this is not a slam on CS people from India.

What's worse? one of those stupid automated answering services. Say your name. Then it repeats the wrong name back. Give your acct number and it says "did you mean this?" "No you stupid idiot I said this". I'm sorry could you repeat that please". Those things drive me nuts. Then after you answer all the questions and repeat them 5 times it puts you through to someone from India. I give up.

I like the one I get all the time from some collection agency. It's an unknown caller on the caller ID so I don't answer it so the machine picks up. It always say this is a person call for (name - not mine!) if this is not you hang up now. Buy continuing to listen to this you confirm you are (name - not mine!). Well, last time I checked my answering machine doesn't have the ability to know who you are calling so therefore cannot hang up!!! They leave at least 2 mssgs a day. Tried to call them, got no where. Ignoring them doesn't work and picking up the phone doesn't work either... Hope they lose my number soon

What now those automated system are using different phone # when they call, Some have a cell # and some actually has a false name on the caller id.

I cant stand, they are making it tricky for us, so we dont see a weird 8oo # , noooooo now they are alternating phone # for caller id's.

Like the auto system that say( you are approved for ****** due to the economy,) ha you hang up and get the same thing but under a different #.

I have sirrius satellite radio and wanted to add an additional subscription for my DH. I COULDN'T GET SOMEONE TO UNDERSTAND ME and eventually had to set it up online.

How sad is it that I was practically begging them to let me give them more business and they still couldn't help!?!?!?!?

Actually I was talking about when you call a place like your dish company for service and have to talk to one of those voice activated computers. They have inflection so they sound like a person but they aren't and they will make you pull your hair out.

Have you tried signing up on the Do not call registry? It won't stop all calls but it would be worth considering. Last year I was receiving solicitation calls on a cell phone I had just purchased. I mean the very day I opened the account I was bombarded with them. When my husband told me it was happening to him as well I signed us both up (numbers have to listed seperately) and the calls literally came to a screeching halt. I still don't get those calls.

has anyone tried mail order medication? ive sent in 3 different prescriptions for insulin and everytime they tell me they cant read the directions/ drs signature etc

it costs 3x as much to buy them from the local pharmacy so my insurance is kinda forcing me to deal with them.

I have an accent (and have been asked for my work visa/passport more than once, grrrr). I CAN NOT convince voice recognition that 2 is a number! I end up having to do my numbers in french, spanish or japanese just to be understood.

Been there done that, then I got so totally fed up being put through to India every time I rang this company or that company, I wrote a very very strong letter to all the companies involved and said quite literayy if I can't have a direct UK phone number I close all my accounts! ............ Guess what, I now have direct dial UK numbers........ worked for me............... so everyone write to your "providers" and insist, and keep writing till you get what you want.
