What's would cause Eggs to look like this?

This is the 2nd egg like this in the past week. All of ours hens are between 2 and 6 years old. They free range and lay in multiple places so I'm not sure who laid this egg. I've never seen this before. Thanks.

it almost looks like a partially developed chick, and yet not..

It was laid in the last 2 days.

hmm, i don't know what could have caused the egg to look so odd, are any of your hens acting odd?

No, not that I can tell. I got another egg just like that one today
