What's wrong with her eye?

I just bathed one of my Cochins for a show and after I took this pic I noticed her eyes. What's wrong?

Hum... ? How do you bathe a chicken for show? I mean, is there soap involved that could irritate an eye?

Allergy to anything.. ? -- no cedar shavings used, right?

It wasn't like that before the bath? Have you bathed her before, showed her before? Is it a new "soap"?

Sorry, wish I could be more help. I don't know much about "showing" or the "getting ready" for shows. Someone else will help more... I am sure.

Do you have eye drops or eye ointment -- there is an antibiotic eye ointment available at the feed store (or from a vet).

eck, what ceder is bad for the birds. can it kill them really??? eck crap oh no, much more running though my mind I just put a few shavings down in the coop till I could afford some new straw, will they be ok till am or is this a flashlight emergency..... crap it is cold and wet out side and I am in my jamies.

The cedar puts off toxic fumes that is harmful to the chickens. We use pine shavings.

Wash the oils off her & air out the coop & put new bedding down ..
