whats wrong with my duck?

@Miss Lydia I think that is possible. If she has an infection . . . I would be seriously considering getting her on antibiotics, because infections can sometimes cause symptoms that can look like nutritional deficiencies.

I have written it before, but just in case I have lost track, a good duck vet can be a great help. And I understand - truly - if that is not an option. I am not a vet, I can just share my thoughts and feelings and encourage you to do what you think is best.

I think she may have an infection in her mouth - there could even be a sharp object stuck in the top of her bill. She needs help.

It would be best to look into her bill. @casportpony can you coach someone on opening a bill and looking around?
Have a friend help if possible, then maybe wrap her body in a towel and wait for her to relax. Have friend hold her body while you hold the head. Hold head with one hand, open bill with other and inspect for discolorations and odors. Might help to do it with a healthy one first, then you'll know if anything doesn't look right.

PS Sorry, not very good at explaining this sort of stuff.

i dont have a phone right now, if there is something in her mouth i will try to discribe it.

i just checked her mouth and i didnt see any thing weird, but i felt the bubbles on her bill and they felt squishy and she nipped at me when i did, so i think it hurt her when i touched it.

@casportpony would be the best one for giving you the antibiotic you should administer to her sounds like she has multiple things going on and the bill could be a symptom of what ever else is going on.
Is it possible to take her to a vet? we understand that isn't always feasible but it's something we rec since we're not vets and can only do so much.Especially since we can't put our hands on the duck. I dif think she should be on an antibiotic though.

Feed stores carry Tylan , Oxytetracycline and Penicillin usually.
