whats wrong with my duck?

@applebutter14 do you have any triple antibiotic cream (like Neosporin) or even Bacitracin without painkiller?

Here are some thoughts - just ideas -

Dip the bill in a half water half hydrogen peroxide mix. Just dip the bill, do not let the duck drink it - if it foams, that indicates some bacteria. I would do this after letting the duck drink some fresh clean water.

If it is a bacterial infection, I would put antibiotic cream on top of the bill and as soon as possible, get some oral antibiotics. I am not a vet, nor am I an antibiotic expert. But feed stores often carry antibiotics you can add to water.

If it is not a bacterial infection, then I would be thinking fungal infection and looking for a safe anti fungal.

If it is an infection inside the bill I think it will need to be drained/lanced. Probably best to consult with a vet. To the best of my knowledge, antibiotics alone will not work once the pus is trapped in a space like that.

yes, its dirt and dry food on her bill, she cant clean herself in the water like my other duck, so her bill and underside is dirty, i tried to clean her of but i think i was stressing her, but this morning she can sort of stand but after a little but she has to balance on her wing,so her legs seem to be getting better, i am going to the feed store this morning.

Before you go buy antibiotics put some Apple Cider Vinegar in her drinking water 2 Tab to 1 gallon fresh water and let her dunk her head it till you get the antibiotic once you begin using the antibiotic don't use the ACV. Is she washing her face in water deep enough to get her head in? this is very important for water fowl that they can wash their faces especially their nares and eyes.
