My eye's have a pink-ish lilac-ish color to them, and some have really strange rough type of shell? It's sorta hard to explane but it's like tiny bump's on the outside of the egg covering it everywhere (exept on the inside?) I know that the pink-ish color might mean stress, but I dont understand how they would be getting this way. Any suggestion's on what the bump's on the outside mean, also any suggestions to why my chicken's may be getting this stressed because I really dont know.

(They alway's have clean water and open food, they free range all the time. Could it be that their laying area is to exposed so that they get frightened when laying egg's because they can see other chickens.)

Sorry if this was confusing, My sister is going through her mid-year exams and i've had no time to do anything else but help her study XD.

Both the pinkish (dusty, powdery) hue and the speed bump texture indicate way too much calcium. Are you supplementing calcium mixed with their food (not recommended) or serving a dish a-la-carte (on the side, to be eaten if desired, preferred method)?
Stress can be anything from too hot, too cold, overmating, inadequate food and water sources or food of a different type, taste or consistency, unsafe sleeping arrangements, a sudden change in day length (ie removing them from an artificially lit environment, to natural day length), mixing with strange chickens which are more dominant or which already know the pecking order, exposure to new disease pathogens, especially for birds coming out of cages and being put on the floor or ground or free range for the first time. These are some of the things that cause stress in chickens; but I truly don't think that stress is your problem; I think they're overdosing on calcium.

I normally just give them regular chicken pellet's and sometimes treats (water melon, rice ect?) I've had them with my other chickens for a long time. Some of them sleep in the 10 by 12 and some of them sleep in the 10 by 10?
