I agree with chseeads, it looks like they are playing dead. I wonder if they moved around during the night and laid back down to fool you.

What is the temperature in their brooder box? Put a thermometer in there and report back. They may be too cold.

If they were sick they would probably be walking around but droppy and wings distended.

They look like they are more than a few days old- so they would have been used to the brooder they were in where you purchased them. Were they in with any other birds? if so seperating them would also scare them.

We have this happen to some of our birds when we move them from our brooder tubs into brooder pens; with quiet & time, and they seem to adjust.
