Gertie's been having issues for the past few weeks.
Hunched over, standing on one leg, vent area red and raw, lack of spunk/lethargic, and she seems to stay in the coop or one spot all day. Really watery/runny poo
I've tried corid thinking it was cocci based on her posture and symptoms... but seemed to make no difference.
Started when she was laying bloody eggs. Haven't ruled out prolapsed vent, but there is nothing sticking out and she has been like this for about two weeks!
I have been soaking her in water for 20 minutes daily and tried hemorrhoid cream on the raw areas in her vent, but it seems to make little difference.
She still has hardened poo caked in her vent from when she was laying bloody egg shells. (whole egg with blood on it)
Unsure if she is laying because she is in with 11 others.
None of my other 11 have any symptoms.
Actively treating all 12 for lice/mites/worms with invermectin 4 drops in between wings (yesterday)

Any and all suggestions appreciated, thanks!

I'm sorry, I can't help you with what's wrong with her but I did want to say that I hope she recovers soon. Nothing like feeling helpless when they're not feeling well.

doesnt look cocci based I had a really bad problem with this last year, lost my entire flock to it so I had to restart again this year. I say give her some electrloytes, seperate her and keep a close eye on her, make sure you give her plenty of fresh water with electrolytes and clean bedding.

Good luck,
