what's wrong with my Silkie?

Yes,all 10 of my chickens(silkies and orpingtons)know their names also, and come when called. I completely understand how attached you are to her,as i cannot imagine my life without mine.

I know this probably has nothing to do with whats going with her, however, deworm her and treat her for lice and mites as well.

Does anyone know if this disease can be transferred to dusks. I can't remember what it said in my books and am not nearby at this moment. I have 6 ducks in the same grazing area. Thanks.

I think your Silkie has Wry Neck. Silkies and other crested chickens are susceptible to this neurological problem. It is not contagious. Rest in a warm quiet place helps. Some people have had success treating the problem with vitamin supplements. See this link for details: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/517234/medical-treatments-recommended-by-bycers#post_6580204 (scroll down to the middle)

The most important thing is to make sure the twisty neck does not interfere with eating and drinking enough.
