I gave her only the recommended dose of epsom salt as directed by the link about treating vent gleet to detoxify the gut (she wouldn't even take it all), and other than that have just been using the epsom salt to soak her. Im constantly giving her fresh water but she isn't drinking a whole lot, and she needs encouragement for what she does drink. She had one short period of diarrhea since it is a laxative, but that has subsided. I think the yogurt is doing her bowel movements some good. Her bottom is a little red/irritated looking, but has been since the start of this whole situation due to the infection. I'm wondering if anyone thinks saline flushing her vent with a syringe might be beneficial? Overall she has perked up quite a bit, no more half-closed eyes etc. Her sister has been considerably more noisy since they've been apart! I took pictures of her/her bottom/ the discharge but whenever I try to upload it just keeps loading and loading and never goes through. I can try another time, we are having our internet fixed this week.
