What's wrong with their feathers?

I have 19 eggs from Catkai in lockdown. I think I'm only seeing cooked eggs, but hoping it's just my eyes and the fact that I should change the batteries in my maglight. I think I saw viens in one, but it's hard to see into those shells.

Please let me get some of these to hatch

I had someone else hatch a dozen eggs from Alicefelldown for me just before she gave up her flock. One hatched and after about 4 weeks died, so I need some better vibes. The other BYCer gets great hatches, so I was hoping for more and this time although temps and humidity held great so far, I'm a nervous wreck.

I had Eggs from Kim (Catkai) And I have something like 11 fluffies I think running around here! lolThat isn't EVEN counting my smooth splits! I have them in light blue,dark blue,splash and close to white. very little markings.

They were packed so well, but my PO is brutal with packages so I get lots of scrambled eggs. I set these and didn't touch them out of fear. LOL Sure hope I can do as well as you and I'm just not seeing enough.

Here is my little silkied chick...he is now just shy of 4 weeks old. I got lucky that he is both silkied and blue.
I am thinking (and hoping!) boy - his legs seem pretty thick and he is starting to develop a comb. I wish I had some chicks of the same breed and age to compare him to!


I picked up some beautiful blue and black chicks over the weekend to breed to my silkied chick, eventually, assuming they turn out well...plus a super sweet 1 year old blue hen. I am also giving silkied eggs another shot this week so please keep fingers and toes crossed that all goes well!

So cute. The one that hatched out for me was not silkied, but I was hoping down the line I would get some. Mine was also blue. I have BBS, blue and lavender AMs and hatching out more, so I have more to work with if I get lucky. I think if this next hatch goes well, I'll have to be good for a while. This was my splurge this year and not sure I could swing it again, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can at least get a silkied roo this time around.

yes I hope you get some too...I feel so bad seeing people on here just can't seem to get them or keep them if they do...I am so fortunate and have so many. My fright is OF COURSE that they will die at POL or sooner and I have lost several already. I sure don't wanna loose anymore. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!
