Does anyone have pictures of Silkied/Fluffy Ameraucanas in colors other than BBS?

Wheaten, Chocolate, White, Lavender, etc? Or any other project colors?
Let's see 'em!

Hi all, I have had these for just a year or so, starting with eggs and got just smooth feathered birds, a pair. Luckily they both are carrying the fluffy gene since I hatched 9 of their eggs and GOT 3 FLUFFY BABIES out of the 9 eggs!!! The fluffy babies are all black. The other babies are quite a range of colors: splash, light lavender colored with uneven red lacing, darker(blue) with dark reddish wings, black, blue with white lacing on neck and saddle feathers. Apparently my parent pair carries lots of different color genes, which is nice. However, I am running out of space and wonder if anybody in the Medford Oregon area would like to buy the parent pair. I don't want to ship birds. I would also sell locally the smooth feathered cockerels described briefly above. To recap, the parent pair is proven to carry the fluffy gene. The smooth cockerels as I understand it might or might not carry the gene. Statistically some should. If anyone is interested in coming to this area (SW Oregon) soon and wants these, please PM me. I am not selling the 3 fluffy babies--still trying to get enough started but have run out of room to work with the smooth birds.

I need a silkied roo for the only black hen I kept from a hatch of eggs I got from ChooksChicks last year. She is not working towards the right color for me and recommended that I ask around for a roo/cockerel. I sold all the blue chicks, all in this hatch were not silkied. This hen was slow to mature and had a lot of birchen type about the neck until molt, now is mostly black with bluegreen sheen. I really thought it was a gentle roo until the eggs showed up

These birds do not have any Silkie in them. They are 100% pure Ameuracana. They were not "created", a pair of Ameuracana's were born with "silked feathers" and other members have worked very hard to create a line using a single starter pair.

These are not silkies...They are a spontaneous mutation in the ameuracana. If you read the thread they started with 2 parent birds and have worked to increase the number steadily.I would LOVE to have one myself.Wish I knew of someone breeding them here in florida.

I was thinking there are some in Florida....I would have to go back and read some earlier posts....
go to page 222 and check with them
