What's wrong with their feathers?

10 fluffy new chicks (plus 3 Orps) here. I still have 2 finishing up in the bator (and 1 more Orp).

I had to work today. Just got home .....

Hatched out 12 out of 13. One is an original, the rest are the next generation. The original hatched on its own, but then died. I also hatched 4 Orps, so they are also in the pictures (2 blue and 2 black).

Germaine ..... I saw him "thinking about it," just today! This rooster and the pullet are like attached at the hip (errr wing)! Honestly, they never leave each other's side. Well, today he actually left her side and was out in the pen with the other 2 girls (Ameraucanas), while she was inside.

This hatch is about over. Not as good as last weekends, but still successful I feel. I have 7 fully hatched and 1 more is zipping. One or two of them are the originals, and I did not help them at all. Started with 12 eggs, 2 were blood rings, 1 early quitter and 1 later quitter.
