What's wrong with this chicks foot??

A week ago I found this 13 week old with a leg wound. So I put blue Kote on but that didn't seem to be working so I stopped and have been putting an antibiotic ointment. Any other suggestions??

I would probably start soaking his legs in warm epsom salts or a disinfectant soap such as chlorhexadrene every day. Dry it and reapply the plain Neosporin Ointment. Do you know how he got the injury? Is he limping, and is it swollen?

No I'm not sure I just noticed that it looked swollen and bloody about a week ago so I washed it dryed it and then applied Blue Kote. You think I should soak in Epsom salts daily?
