Whats wrong with this duckling?

    This duckling just hatched. Can anyone tell me what this is or how it happens.

    Its where the yolk has been absorbed it should just dry out and scab over. It looks a bit raw so I'd make sure to keep it dry and clean and maybe put some antiseptic on it.
