Those of you who allow drakes to breed your chickens have the potential to have a real problem on your hands. Ducks have penises, roosters do not. The anatomy of a hen is not meant to have "objects" inserted. Drakes are also heavy and clumsy breeders and that in itself can injure chickens. Next time your hen blows out her reproductive tract, blame it on the drake. Just common sense folks. The cat doesn't intervene because he's waiting his turn.
